This is a Full-Time Job located in Chennai, India.

Summary:

The Network Administrator provides day-to-day management of the Lexitas Network Infrastructure systems (networks, cloud connectivity, security, communications, and related areas). Performs central administrative and network support activities for the entire company. Responsibility includes both on- prem and cloud Infrastructure. The Network Administrator is a member of the administrative support team and is responsible for training and assisting other support staff with network support.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure systems availability and reliability (network, email, all systems servers, backups, etc.)
• Ensure secure environment provided via network security tools and settings, email security tools and settings, IDS/IDP tools and settings, security solutions, and related items
• Communications and messaging solutions
• Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
• Maintains network performance by network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to other administrators and vendors
• Maintains network procedures, diagrams and documentation
• Assist in developing, testing and implementing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans
• Safeguards confidentiality of the medical records and complies with all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to medical records. Assures compliance with all HIPAA regulations concerning use, retrieval, storage and sharing of medical records.

Competencies, Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise in a wide variety of Network Infrastructure tools and systems, such as Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
• Knowledge of computer networking and security concepts and implementations
• Understanding of network infrastructures running IP telephony and QoS
• Knowledge of Cisco Systems routing, security and switching equipment
• Knowledge of firewall, VPN, security concepts and telecommunication technologies
• Knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, DNS and DHCP
• Knowledge of data center operations
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions such as MS Azure and AWS
• Ability to analyze complex issues and articulate solutions
• Excellent organizational skills
• Deadline-oriented and ability to multi-task

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (computer science or related field also preferred)
• 5 or more years of experience in network infrastructure administration
• Experience working in a multi-function, multi-geography environment preferred
• Proven experience managing network equipment
• Must be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Strong safety record and a history of adhering to safe work practices.
