About The Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dot Net Web Developer to join our technology team and work on exciting projects in the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in .NET technologies, a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. You will collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Software Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and related technologies. Follow SDLC processes and ensure compliance with coding standards, design principles, and best practices. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices and modern development techniques. Adopt scalable application design principles to enhance system performance and maintainability. Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features that align with business needs. Documentation & Process Adherence Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including project-related diagrams, design documents, and deployment plans. Assist in documenting workflows, system architecture, and data flow diagrams to ensure clarity and maintainability. Support the development team in handling project-related work, issue resolution, and implementation tasks. Deployment & Support Plan, schedule, and execute deployments and releases, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth rollouts. Keep track of day-to-day development activities and provide updates on progress to the project lead or manager. Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring prompt resolution and quality assurance. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote collaboration and technical excellence. Stay updated with emerging technologies in the .NET ecosystem to improve system performance and development efficiency. Technical Skills Required Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and ADO.NET libraries. Strong front-end development skills in JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap. Experience in developing Web APIs, web services, and client-server applications. Solid understanding of three-tier and MVC architecture. Hands-on experience with tools such as Visual Studio (2015 and above) and SQL Server Management Studio (2008 and above). Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance. Experience with source code versioning tools such as SVN and TFS. Proficiency in MS Office (2013 and above) for documentation and reporting purposes. Soft Skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective interaction with stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities. High level of accountability and ownership of assigned tasks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage changes efficiently. Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills. A positive attitude and proactive approach toward learning and professional growth. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in banking, finance, or enterprise-level software development. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
