ROLE: Software Engineer II (Backend – .NET)

TYPE: Contract (6 months, extension / possible FTE)

Role Overview

Backend Software Engineer supporting highly transactional payment platforms within Paymetric Engineering. Role is focused on legacy modernization into AWS and development of cloud-based microservices supporting payment, tokenization, and encryption services.

Must-have Requirements

• 2–5+ years backend software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on .NET / .NET Core
• Experience in high-volume transactional systems (payments/fintech strongly preferred)
• Cloud development experience (AWS preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in Agile teams

• Microservices architecture
• Docker / Kubernetes
• SQL & NoSQL databases
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
• C/C++ exposure (legacy platforms)
• Azure (if AWS is lighter)
