Job Title: National Head Delivery (PSU & Govt)- IT Services

ROLE SUMMARY


We are seeking an exceptionally talented and visionary Delivery leader to head our Public Sector Portfolio in India. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing large-scale, complex turnkey government programs worth $80 million and above. The role demands a seasoned professional with deep expertise in government contracting, system integration, program management, and the ability to navigate complex bureaucratic ecosystems while delivering world-class outcomes.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


Minimum Tenure & Level

  • Minimum 18-20 years of professional experience in IT/IT Services/Consulting
  • Minimum 8-10 years in a strategic leadership role managing portfolios or large business units
  • Must have been in P&L ownership and business leadership roles previously


Government Sector Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of direct experience in the Government of India sector (Central or State governments)
  • Proven track record of winning and delivering multi-year, high-value government contracts
  • Experience with Central PSEs, e-governance initiatives, Digital India programs, or Smart Cities projects
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes (open tender, limited tender, GeM, etc.)
  • Experience with various Ministry stakeholders (MeitY, DoT, Defence, Finance, Health, Education, etc.)


System Integrator Background

  • Mandatory: Must have worked in a System Integrator organization (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, EY, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of SI operating model, delivery methodologies, and value propositions
  • Experience bidding, winning, and executing SI-style complex programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work across hardware, software, services, and support components


Portfolio & Revenue Scale

  • Must have managed portfolios with minimum $80 million in annual revenue (preferably $150-200 million)
  • Experience delivering programs worth $50-200 million (single program size)
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenues, expand market share, and penetrate new government segments


Team Leadership

  • Proven track record managing and developing large teams of 1,000-2000+ FTEs
  • Experience scaling organizations through hiring, training, and talent development
  • History of creating high-performing, engaged, and accountable teams


Contract & Commercial Management

  • Deep expertise in government contract negotiation and structuring
  • Strong track record in P&L management, cost optimization, and margin protection
  • Experience managing large vendor ecosystems and subcontractor networks
  • Proficiency in financial controls, billing, and receivables management
