Job Title: AI Integration Developer (MuleSoft Anypoint Platform) – Contract
Location: Remote – must be willing to have at least 4 hours overlap with Australian Eastern Standard Time (Brisbane)

We are looking for a skilled AI Integration Developer with strong MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience to join our team on a contract basis to help deliver AI-driven automation and system integration initiatives.

This role focuses on building intelligent integration workflows that enable AI systems to interact with enterprise applications, automate processes, and orchestrate data flows across multiple platforms.

This is a time-sensitive project, and the developer will be expected to take ownership of the integration development and work closely with the project team and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesAI-Driven Integration Development

Design and implement AI-enabled integration workflows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. These integrations will enable AI services and automation tools to interact with internal systems, process data, trigger actions, and orchestrate workflows across the organisation’s technology ecosystem.

Intelligent Use Case Implementation

Analyse provided use cases and determine the most effective architecture to support AI-driven automation and data processing. Design and develop scalable integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and related platform tools.

Workflow Automation & Orchestration

Build integrations that allow AI systems and automation agents to retrieve, process, and distribute data between business systems. Ensure these workflows are reliable, scalable, and able to support autonomous processes.

Existing Integration Enhancement

Review, modify, and optimise existing integration flows to support evolving automation and AI requirements. This may include improving performance, reliability, data handling, and monitoring capabilities.

Cross-System Collaboration

Work collaboratively with internal developers, architects, and technical teams to ensure integrations align with broader system architecture and automation strategies.

Proactive Problem Solving

Identify potential challenges in integration architecture, data flows, or automation processes. Proactively propose and implement solutions to improve system interoperability and efficiency.

Requirements Discovery & Technical Analysis

Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify the best integration approach. Ask the right questions, challenge assumptions where needed, and take ownership of the technical solution design.

Testing & Validation

Ensure integrations are thoroughly tested and validated to support production workloads. Assist in QA processes and confirm that integrations meet reliability, security, and performance expectations.

Deployment & Monitoring

Deploy integration solutions into production environments and implement monitoring strategies to ensure integrations operate reliably and can be quickly diagnosed if issues occur.

Documentation

Create clear documentation covering integration architecture, configuration, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guidance to support ongoing maintenance.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience

• Proven experience developing integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, API design, and integration flow development
• Experience building event-driven or automation-oriented integrations
• Hands-on experience writing DataWeave scripts
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience integrating AI services, automation platforms, or intelligent workflows is highly desirable
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial
• Experience working with legacy systems and modern cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and API-based integrations
• Experience using version control systems such as Git
• Strong understanding of API security and policy management

Certifications (Preferred)

• MuleSoft Certified Developer
• Cloud or integration-related certifications are beneficial
• AI related certifications

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹14,115.37 - ₹64,549.13 per month

Work Location: Remote
