About the Role

At Onething, we believe motion brings brands to life. As a 3D & Motion Designer, you’ll push the boundaries of storytelling through dynamic visuals, animations, and immersive 3D content. From sleek UI animations to product films, from reels to full-blown 3D brand assets, you’ll blend creativity with cutting-edge tools, including AI, to craft work that feels fresh, bold, and future-forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-quality 2D and 3D motion content for digital campaigns, product storytelling, brand films, and social platforms.
• Develop cinematic product visualisations, interface animations, and immersive motion graphics.
• Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and copywriters to translate creative ideas into motion narratives.
• Work across industry-standard tools: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, plus 3D software (Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, etc.).
• Integrate AI-powered creative tools (Runway, Pika, MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.) into workflows to boost creativity and efficiency.
• Experiment with diverse animation styles - minimal, dynamic, cinematic, or abstract — based on project needs.
• Ensure brand consistency across motion deliverables while knowing when to innovate and break the mould.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising on creativity or output quality.

Requirements

• An eye for detail and a knack for keeping things organised while juggling multiple tasks.
• 3+ years of professional experience in motion graphics, 3D design, and video editing.
• Strong expertise in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, with solid working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in at least one 3D software (Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, Houdini, etc.) — ability to model, texture, and animate is a huge plus.
• Good grasp of animation principles, cinematography, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI design workflows (Runway, Pika Labs, MidJourney, Sora, Veo3, etc).
