Currently, we have an opening for a Mortgage Processing position. We're looking for someone with mortgage experience that can plug-in to our fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities

  • Processing mortgage applications this includes communicating to customer to collect documents necessary to clear underwriting conditions
  • Preparing packages for loan approval and closing
  • Verifying accuracy of documentation received (I.E. applications, credit, appraisals, title, insurance, etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy to data input into systems
  • Manage pre-closing activities/checklists while simultaneously processing new originations
  • Provide remarkable customer service
  • Run preliminary automated conditions system
  • Organize documents for the underwriter
  • Communicate with Customers, Underwriters, Loan Officer Assistants and Loan Officers.
  • Update the file with task expected dates and completed dates; keep everyone updated on what is going on


To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to:

  • Great communicator! You must have no hesitancy in picking up the phone to call someone.
  • Be efficient in completing tasks; we're looking for someone who can manage their time well - you may be completing a task and then a customer contacts you. Can you deal with interruptions?
  • Articulate complex information in an easy to understand manner
  • Be punctual
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Be a self starter
  • Solid business computer skills
  • Organized with strong attention to detail


Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years mortgage experience is required (minimum requirement will vary with education)
  • Familiarity with Encompass is a plus
