Positi on: MongoDB Developer Experien ce: 5 to 8 years Locati on: Hyderabad/Chennai/Kol/Pune/Noida/Gurgaon/Indore/Bangalore Job Description Required Information Details 1 Role**Database Administrator 2Required Technical Skill Set**Mongo DB Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have** (Ideally should not be more than 3-5) Job Description: Looking for an experienced MongoDB DBA to manage and maintain MongoDB databases and lead database migration projects from on-premises relational databases to MongoDB Atlas on Azure. Candidate should have a strong background in MongoDB database administration, performance tuning, and disaster recovery, with specific expertise in Azure cloud services and database migration Data Modeling & designing expertise with reporting knowledge and hands-on in current project. Good-to-Have Work well with the stakeholders and communicate effectively with good verbal and written language skills Good-to-have experience in SQL Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB databases on MongoDB Atlas. 2 Migration: Should have hands-on experience in migrating on-premises relational databases to MongoDB Atlas on Azure (Preferred) or any other cloud 3 Deep understanding of MongoDB schema design, query execution, and aggregation framework. Design and optimize query execution plans, troubleshoot slow queries using explain(), and fine-tune indexes accordingly. 4 Practical knowledge of MongoDB anti-patterns and how to avoid them. Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas, Atlas Search, and performance monitoring tools. 5 Proven expertise in writing complex queries , including use of operators like $and, $or, $in, $regex, $lookup, $unwind, $facet, $project, and $group. 6 Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and resource management. 7 Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. 8 Security: Ensure database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards. 9 High Availability: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using MongoDB Atlas and Azure services. 10 Database Migration: Lead and execute database migration projects from on-premises relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to MongoDB Atlas on Azure. 11 Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts for database management tasks using tools like Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Terraform. 12 Monitoring and Alerts: Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve database issues. 13 Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support application development and deployment. 14 Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices 15 Proven experiences as a MongoDB DBA, with a focus on Azure cloud services. 16 Experience with database migration projects from on-premises relational databases to MongoDB Atlas 17 Should be flexible to work in US shifts between11AM ? 11PM for 9:30hrs as per client timings 18 All 5 days? work from office with no exception. No long leave plan within 1-2 years of joining.
