About the Role

NR Consulting is looking for a skilled Mobile Developer who can design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mobile app development, API integration, UI implementation, performance optimization, and app deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Build clean, scalable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications.
• Work closely with product, UI/UX, backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, payment gateways, maps, notifications, analytics, and authentication services.
• Ensure application performance, security, responsiveness, and compatibility across different devices and OS versions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve mobile application issues.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following mobile development best practices.
• Manage app builds, version updates, testing, and deployment on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Collaborate on architecture, feature planning, and technical improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile development frameworks, tools, and platform guidelines.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Android and iOS mobile app development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin / Java for Android and Swift / Objective-C for iOS.
• Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, SDKs, and mobile development tools.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit, Alamofire, URLSession, or similar tools.
• Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, Google Maps / Apple Maps, in-app purchases, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of MVVM, MVC, MVP, or similar architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Understanding of mobile app security, performance tuning, memory management, and crash handling.
• Ability to build responsive and smooth mobile UI across multiple screen sizes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Jetpack components such as ViewModel, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, and LiveData.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreData, Combine, and Auto Layout.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools for mobile app build and deployment.
• Experience publishing apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies and cloud platforms.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant mobile development experience will be given strong preference.
