Want to help us fight the scam epidemic? We are looking for a seasoned Mobile Developer focusing on our Android application, to ensure we deliver amazing cyber protection on mobile platforms to millions of users spread across 50+ countries. In our team, we often call ourselves "the good Fellows", protecting people from cyber villains and scams.

By strengthening our mobile client team, you will take on some of the most interesting challenges in one or more security areas of intellectual property and fundamental building blocks of our category-defining Personal products. Our team is responsible for implementation and integration of new security features. You will join our team in Bengaluru, India. Our team in India is growing rapidly, and we now have over 100 employees working there. We work mostly remotely, but expect our Fellows to work from the Bengaluru office on occasional team days that will be agreed upon separately.

Key Responsibilities In This Role

• Design, architect and develop new features for our Android apps, championing great mobile architecture and seamless software design paradigms
• Take ownership of existing features and drive their continuous development and improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Participate in regular design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of our codebase
• Collaborate closely with product management, designers and security researchers to take ideas from concept to delivery
• Strive for innovation by diving deep into our core technologies, working with the team to build better solutions for consumer protection
  
  

Tech stack: RxJava/Kotlin Flow, Dagger2/Koin & Jetpack Compose

What are we looking for?

• Academic background in engineering, preferably in software or computer engineering
• 3–4 years of end-to-end Android development experience, specializing in native development using Kotlin and Java, with strong architecture, coding and design capabilities
• Experience with RxJava/Kotlin Flow, Dagger2/Koin & Jetpack Compose, and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design & Development
• Curiosity to learn and share your learnings with other developers
• Full professional proficiency in English, as our organisation language is English
