Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mobile Application Developer, based in Kochi. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications to support Mathrubhumi's digital initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include coding, debugging, and optimizing application performance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience. The role requires identifying innovative solutions to enhance mobile applications and delivering projects within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mobile Application Development and expertise in Application Development
• Strong knowledge of Mobile Applications and iOS Development
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies
• Ability to debug and optimize application performance
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Prior experience in media, entertainment, or related industries is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Must Have

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Dart and the Flutter State Management.
• Experience with Flutter state management solutions (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, etc.).
• Proven experience building and releasing real-world, production mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of app architecture, state management, and modular code design.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced development environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
