Job Description

The Machine Learning Forecaster is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining predictive models to forecast future trends and outcomes using machine learning algorithms and data analysis techniques. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable forecasts. Responsibilities: Model Development: Design and develop predictive models using various machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, and time series analysis. Identify and select relevant datasets and features for model training. Preprocess and clean data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of models. Train, validate, and optimize models to achieve desired accuracy and performance. Forecasting: Generate forecasts based on trained models and real-time data. Analyze forecast results and identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Communicate forecast results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines. Document model development processes and results for future reference. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor model performance and identify areas for improvement. Retrain and update models as needed to ensure accuracy and relevance. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and forecasting techniques. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in machine learning, data analysis, or forecasting. Should have BPO background and done forecasting in past through AI/ML. Skills: Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Experience with specific forecasting techniques or tools. Possess BPO background. Experience working with large datasets. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
