Role Overview

MERN stack developer with experience in solution development and functional analysis. Be a champion for both technical and functional solutions across full-stack development. Follow Agile delivery methodology and assist others in the team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Implement responsive UI components and ensure seamless user experience.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Well versed in using AI tools like GitHub Copilot.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience

React.js, Node.js, Express.js, NestJS

MongoDB (MongoDB Atlas preferred)

REST APIs, Microservices architecture

AWS (basic deployment & services)

SQL (Postgres / Oracle – basic understanding)

Git / GitHub version control

HTML5, CSS3, responsive design

Authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

Good to Have

• Rule engine integration (Workflow orchestration BPM or CIB7) – experience consuming Workflow orchestration REST API, managing process variables, and embedding BPMN/DMN decision logic within MERN applications.

Apply AI-powered static analysis (CodeClimate, SonarQube AI rules) to proactively detect code smells.

Utilise AI pair programming to generate RESTful API scaffolding and MongoDB schema definitions from natural language prompts.

Adopt AI-assisted code review workflows (GitHub Copilot PR summaries) to improve review turnaround.

Explore AI tools for automated documentation generation (JSDoc / Swagger spec drafting via Copilot).
