MERN Stack Developer (React.js, Next.js, Node.js, AWS Lambda, Microservices) Location: Kolkata (On-site) Company: Nxerra Technologies Experience Required: 3 to 6 years Employment Type: Full-time ?? About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with strong experience in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, AWS Lambda, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering team to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications for global clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Build serverless functions and APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS services. Design, build, and deploy microservices for scalable distributed applications. Implement UI components and pages using React.js and Next.js with excellent optimization. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend teams for end-to-end feature development. Optimise applications for speed, performance, scalability, and security. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication (OAuth/JWT), etc. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes. ?? Required Skills & Experience 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with MERN Stack. Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js (SSR/SSG, routing, caching, hydration). Strong backend experience with Node.js and Express.js. Experience building serverless functions with AWS Lambda. Good understanding of Microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Experience working with MongoDB & Mongoose. Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM). Experience with REST API, GraphQL (optional but preferred). Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker (optional). Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. ? Good to Have Experience with TypeScript. Familiarity with Docker & Kubernetes. Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka (for microservices).
