MERN Stack Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack developer focusing on Node.js and proficient in developing complete solution in the Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) to join our development team. The candidate is preferred to have good experience in the Retail Domain and an end to end understanding of the Retail landscape, workflows and components. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for developing API?s and REST based API Integrations with major eCommerce & OMS solutions or package components; implementing user interface components using React.js/Vue.js or similar frontend framework is a plus as well as building Scripts or extensions based on the JS framework used. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving application performance, consuming and developing against internal and third-party REST API?s and documenting your work on our codebase(s). Responsibilities Meeting with cross functional teams and business partners to discuss new projects, feature enhancements to existing Applications and modernizing existing services. Reviewing application requirements and interface and application designs. Developing Clear Data Flow and Cloud Architecture Diagrams to be reviewed with the team and external architecture guild. Translating designs, business requirements and wireframes into high quality code. Familiarity with building and extending REST API?s and Event Driven Extensions. Developing or Deploying code to Cloud and against 3rd party SaaS platforms. Leveraging new or existing REST API?s to power internal and customer facing experiences. Troubleshooting interfaces, and API endpoints and debugging application code. Building reusable components and for future use. Use Git Following Git-Flow process for new and existing Code contributions. Documenting application changes and developing updates. Requirements: Technical Experience with Node.js and scripting frameworks. Good experience in the Retail domain with end to end understanding of its landscape. Knowledge of any of the composable eComm or OMS packages will be an added advantage. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages including React/NextJS and ExpressJS. Knowledge of backend languages like C#, Python, Java, will be a plus. Consuming internal or public REST API?s. Relational SQL and No-SQL experience. Experience with API and Data Modeling design. Knowledge of testing and monitoring frameworks and services. Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Good project management skills. Ability to work individually and within a large cross functional team. Experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban teams. Experience working with DevOps Build and Release Tools. Good experience in Code Management using Repositories like Github, BitBucket etc. and have good understanding of Branching and Release Strategies.
