Role Description The Merchandiser role at BHADOHI RUGS is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhadohi. The Merchandiser will coordinate between production, design, and sales teams to ensure product assortments meet market demands and customer requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring orders, tracking samples, reviewing product specifications, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role involves visiting production units, assessing product quality, preparing presentations and product catalogs, and supporting sales efforts with accurate product information. The Merchandiser will also analyze market trends, gather customer feedback, and collaborate with marketing and retail stakeholders to optimize product placement and pricing strategies.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, internal teams, and production partners.
• Sales and Retail experience to manage assortments, support order negotiations, and understand store-level product performance.
• Marketing knowledge to assist with product positioning, promotional activities, and trend analysis in the home décor and textile sector.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for order tracking, documentation, and quality checks.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhadohi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and visit production facilities as needed.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email) and familiarity with merchandising or inventory tools.
• Prior experience in textiles, rugs, carpets, or home furnishings is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Textiles, Fashion, or a related field preferred.
