Location
The selected candidate will be deployed at one of our client locations across the NCR region. This is a full-time, on-site role; remote work is not available.
Experience Required
1–5 years of relevant experience in medical writing, healthcare analytics, clinical research, or medical coding.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our healthcare research and data team as a Medical Writer / Healthcare Data Analyst. In this role, you will transform complex clinical and market data into meaningful insights that support strategic business decisions for global healthcare clients.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare coding systems (ICD, NDC), clinical trial data, and secondary research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, validate, and manage large healthcare datasets with high accuracy.
- Develop and maintain disease market structures using ICD, NDC, and other classification systems.
- Conduct in-depth profiling of healthcare professionals (HCPs), medical institutions, and key stakeholders through secondary research.
- Analyze healthcare and clinical datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights.
- Prepare high-quality reports, summaries, and presentations for internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to streamline workflows and improve data quality.
- Engage with medical societies, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare organizations to strengthen research outcomes.
- Support planning and execution of healthcare strategy and data analytics projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and data privacy standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, disease classifications, and clinical trial concepts.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare coding systems such as ICD, NDC, CPT, or HCPCS.
- Proficiency in data analysis, validation, and interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with databases, Excel, PubMed, and research tools is highly desirable.
- B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related healthcare qualification preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
