In this critical role, you'll serve as the primary clinical authority overseeing the integrity of our drug testing process, working alongside our Operations team to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. As the liaison between our laboratory partners, employers, donors, and regulatory bodies, you'll help maintain ClearStar's reputation as a trusted leader in background screening and drug testing services

What You'll Do

  • Review and interpret laboratory‑confirmed results and determine legitimate medical explanations.

  • Oversee chain‑of‑custody processes and participate in audits and quality reviews.
  • Support occupational testing initiatives, including occasional marketing or clinical review projects.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Active MRO certification through AAMRO or MROCC.
  • At least 5 years of related experience, including 2 in drug screening.
  • Malpractice insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of toxicology, pharmacology, lab processes, and confidentiality standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free with access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day task.

Who You Are

A precise, fair, and clinically skilled physician who exercises sound judgment, communicates clearly, protects confidentiality, and stays current on regulations. You work well independently, manage deadlines, and represent ClearStar with professionalism.
