We are looking for: Medical Oncology Veterinary Assistant

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30a-6p

This team develops strong bonds with our patients and clients, requiring compassion and excellent patient care. Our Medical Oncology assistants thrive in a fast-paced environment, can multi-task, have high attention to detail and will gain experience in chemotherapy treatments.

What you’ll do:

Assist with chemotherapy treatments, requiring excellent venipuncture skills
Coordinate and manage client communication via phone and email
Manage appointments, obtain histories, invoicing, patient discharges, scheduling
Accurate and thorough documentation in medical records

Who you are:

Prior veterinary experience required, previous oncology experience desired
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
