Medical Officer- Fort Mumbai

Qualification: Graduate – BHMS / BAMS

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct history taking and documentation, including assessment of vitals.
• Discuss the patient’s history and clinical findings with the treating consultant for formulating an appropriate care plan.
• Transcribe medication orders and other clinical instructions from the treating consultant into the medical record.
• Address and clarify any doubts the patient or family may have regarding treatment, procedures, hospital processes, or investigation results.
• Act as a liaison between patients, treating doctors, and administrative staff for any patient-related queries.
• Transcribe discharge summaries as directed by the treating consultant.
• Enter and maintain all documentation—both hard and soft copies—including scan reports, prescriptions, discharge cards, investigation reports, referral letters, sickness/fitness certificates, and other medical documents.
• Transcribe ultrasound scan reports of patients into the electronic system.
• Work as a Patient Care Coordinator for the centre, ensuring smooth patient flow.
• Explain all procedures and pre‑procedure instructions to patients.
• Educate couples about the flow of visits and treatment processes.
• Explain medications to patients/couples as per the senior consultant’s prescription.
• Resolve patient queries and brief them about various fertility solutions available at the centre.
• Coordinate effectively with patients and staff to ensure seamless centre operations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards while maintaining high standards of patient care.
