Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect fabrication and erection of boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, and piping systems.
  • Verify materials as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Conduct stage-wise inspection during fabrication, welding, and assembly.
  • Witness hydro tests, pneumatic tests, pressure tests, and NDT activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME, IBR, and other applicable standards.
  • Review welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and monitor welding quality.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC team and third-party inspection agencies.
  • Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and NCR documentation.
  • Monitor subcontractor work and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure safety compliance during mechanical installation and testing.
Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Boilers and Pressure Vessel Inspection
  • Familiarity with ASME, IBR, API standards
  • Knowledge of welding inspection and NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings
  • Experience in hydro testing and pressure testing procedures
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
