Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role located in Kulamavu, Kerala. The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and optimize mechanical components and systems for land-based and marine/offshore applications. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing CAD models and technical drawings, supporting machine design activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met. The role involves participating in research and development initiatives, preparing technical documentation, and assisting in project planning and execution. The Mechanical Engineer will also support troubleshooting, performance improvement, and quality assurance activities on active projects.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core Mechanical Engineering skills, with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Design, including component selection, stress analysis, and design for reliability and safety.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills such as planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and tracking deliverables.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Research and Development (R&D), including problem-solving, experimentation, and evaluating new technologies.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Beneficial skills include familiarity with marine/offshore mechanical systems, hands-on experience with installation and commissioning, and knowledge of industry standards and safety practices.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, along with the ability to work on-site in dynamic project environments, are highly valued.
