Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Bihar, India. The Mechanical Engineer will support the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for construction projects, including equipment selection, installation, and maintenance planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications, coordinating with civil and electrical teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards. The role involves conducting site visits, supervising mechanical work execution, troubleshooting equipment issues, and optimizing mechanical systems for performance and cost efficiency. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist with project scheduling, documentation, vendor coordination, and technical reporting to keep projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Mechanical Engineering principles and practical application in construction or related industries.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and the ability to develop, review, and optimize mechanical components and systems.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and basic cost and resource management.
• Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D) to improve mechanical solutions, materials, and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Bihar, India, with regular field and site supervision responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards, construction codes, and quality practices; prior construction industry experience is an advantage.
