Job Description
Should have 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in port equipment maintenance. Proven experience with Mobile Harbour Cranes (Liebherr, Konecranes,Italgru etc.) and Bromma spreaders. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical drives, and lifting equipment. Ability to read mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics.

Maintenance Technical Duties
- Supervise and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of Mobile Harbour Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry
- Perform inspection, overhaul, and replacement of mechanical components including:
- Wire ropes, sheaves, hooks, winches.
- Hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, valves.
- Slewing, luffing, hoisting mechanisms.
- Spreader locking systems, flippers, twist locks, and hydraulic units.
- Tyre pressure monitoring
- Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, torqueing, and commissioning after maintenance works.
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Prepare maintenance plans, job methods, risk assessments (JSA/JHA), and work permits.
- Coordinate daily activities with crane operators, electrical team.
- Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, consumables.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure all works comply with Adani OHS regulations, port safety rules, and OEM guidelines.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe working practices at site.
- Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
- Ensure SAP and other system hygiene requirement from time to time. In time entry of the maintenance activities in SAP and
- keeping all the documents updated and readily available.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Prepare daily progress reports, breakdown analysis, and root cause reports.
- Verify work completion and sign-off maintenance activities
- Supervise technicians and helpers on site in shifts.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to maintenance staff.
- Ensure work quality, productivity, and adherence to timelines.
- Ensure the safety of the plant and person deployed at site.
- Ensure good housekeeping at machine area and execute other work assigned to him.
