Could you be our next Material Handler? Globe Life is looking for a Material Handler to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and mailing all customer correspondence, including billing statements, claim checks, company letters, and new policies. You will accurately assemble mailing packages and envelopes — both by hand and using a mail inserter machine — ensuring each package contains the exact components assigned to it. A key part of this role is confirming and balancing every completed mailing to verify that the precise number of expected pieces has been accounted for.

Could you be our next Material Handler? Globe Life is looking for a Material Handler to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and mailing all customer correspondence, including billing statements, claim checks, company letters, and new policies. You will accurately assemble mailing packages and envelopes — both by hand and using a mail inserter machine — ensuring each package contains the exact components assigned to it. A key part of this role is confirming and balancing every completed mailing to verify that the precise number of expected pieces has been accounted for.
This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
What You Will Do
- Prepare and assemble print for daily mailing.
- Meet daily production goals set by management.
- Log all groups and quantities assembled with proper reporting to ensure all mail has been accounted for.
- Open and reinsert any mail done incorrectly.
- Gather and distribute material in & out of designated holding area.
- Move material placed on postal skids with a pallet jack transferring them to the warehouse in preparation for transport.
- Keep respective areas clean and organized in a manner to not get them cross contaminated.
- Complete all required tasks associated with the Safety Program set by the company.
- Assist in Warehouse.
- Other job duties that are associated with shipping/mailing, as assigned by management.
- Complete overtime as required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience with mail inserting equipment preferred.
- Fluency in English, including reading and writing.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to concentrate and maintain focus for extended periods.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing for the duration of your shift.
- Ability to be detail oriented with a strong sense of quality control awareness.
- Ability to take initiative without being prompted.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to frequently and repeatedly lift up to 20 pounds.
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift.
- Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications.
