Marketplace Business Head

Job Title: Marketplace Operations – 3P Governance;

Performance

Role Overview:

The Marketplace Operations role owns the governance, performance, and profitability of

the third-party (3P) marketplace. The mandate is to bring discipline and predictability to

the 3P business by cleaning up the portfolio, tightening controls, and scaling only profitable,

high-quality centres.

This is an execution- and program-led role with clear decision rights on onboarding

and deboarding of 3P centres, working closely with finance and supply teams to ensure

economic rigor.

Key Responsibilities

 Own 3P portfolio governance, including performance tracking, unit economics

reviews, and compliance standards.

 Drive profitability cleanup by identifying and exiting structurally weak or loss-

making centres.

 Take independent decisions on deboarding non-profitable or non-compliant 3P

centres in a controlled manner.

 Selectively scale profitable 3P centres with clear benchmarks and controls.

 Set up review cadence and dashboards to improve predictability and reduce

operational noise.

 Partner closely with Finance and Supply teams to align onboarding, exits, and

scale decisions.

Experience & Profile

 2–4 years of experience in marketplace operations, partner management, or

franchise-led models.

 Strong execution mindset, comfort with tough exit decisions, and high ownership.

 Strong analytical and program management skills; not a purely strategic role.
