MAHIR is a SEBI registered, fee only investment advisory. We don't earn commissions, we don't sell products, and we don't hide fees in fine print. We charge a subscription and tell people the truth about their money, even when it's uncomfortable, even when it costs us a sale.

Indians have been sold financial products for 40 years. We exist to actually advise them instead. We're small, early, and building this the right way from day one. This is our first marketing hire.

We have two products. MAHIR Screener is our fundamental analysis tool for stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs, helping people actually understand what they're investing in before they invest in it. MAHIR Invest is our advisory business, where we manage and guide people's money directly, fee only, no commissions.

Role Overview

You'll own content and growth end to end across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. You'll also own our SEO and blog presence, and have a working understanding of Meta Ads to support paid distribution when needed. This isn't a support the founder role. You'll work directly with the founder and directly with customers, and you'll be trusted to make judgment calls, not just execute a brief.

What You'll Do

1. Own MAHIR's presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, including strategy, content, publishing, and community
2. Build and run the content calendar across all platforms
3. Write content across formats, from short form social posts to long form blogs to scripts for video
4. Own SEO strategy and our blog, writing and optimizing content that ranks and actually helps people
5. Plan and run Meta Ads campaigns to support content and growth goals
6. Create content that explains both MAHIR Screener and MAHIR Invest clearly, so people understand what each product actually does for them
7. Write content that explains real personal finance concepts clearly, in a voice that doesn't sound like every other fintech account
8. Talk directly to customers to find the real stories, questions, and confusions worth writing about
9. Define and protect MAHIR's brand voice as the company grows across every platform
10. Track what's working with real numbers, not vanity metrics, and double down accordingly

What We're Looking For

1. 3 to 5 years of experience in content marketing, ideally at a fintech, investment platform, or finance creator's team such as Zerodha, Groww, INDmoney, FinShots, Wint Wealth, ET Money, Smallcase, or similar
2. Fluent writing ability in both Hinglish and English, and the judgment to know when to use which
3. Strong content writing skills across formats, social, blogs, scripts, and long form
4. A genuine, working understanding of personal finance, not just the ability to explain it, but actual opinions on it
5. Hands on experience with SEO and blog content that has driven real traffic
6. Working knowledge of Meta Ads, from setup to optimization
7. Comfort managing YouTube as a platform, from content planning to a basic understanding of what makes video content work
8. A portfolio of shipped work with real numbers attached across platforms, whether that's reach, engagement, traffic, or growth
9. Comfort with ownership and ambiguity, since this is a first hire into a fast moving, small team
