You Role

The CUL Marketing Manager for Credit Cards is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s credit card portfolio in Maybank Philippines. The role focuses on end-to-end portfolio strategies, including acquisition, activation, usage stimulation, cross-sell, retention, and risk management, with the objective of driving profitability, portfolio health, and customer engagement.


How You'll Contribute

  • Monitor key metrics such as spend, activation, utilization, attrition, delinquency, and profitability across card segments (e.g., classic, gold, platinum, co-brand)
  • Develop and implement lifecycle management strategies: a) Activation & early engagement campaigns b) Spend stimulation (installment, rewards, merchant offers) c) Retention and reactivation programs d) Cross-sell and upsell initiatives (e.g., loans on card, balance transfer, card upgrades)
  • Partner with Credit Risk to optimize approval rates while maintaining portfolio quality
  • Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to recommend targeted campaigns and offers
  • Work with Product and Marketing to design and execute relevant and timely marketing initiatives
  • Drive initiatives to increase card usage across channels (point-of-sale, e-commerce, mobile wallets, QR payments)
  • Collaborate with Finance and Analytics teams to manage P&L and forecast portfolio performance
  • Monitor competitive landscape and consumer trends to ensure the card portfolio remains relevant and competitive. 9. Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, AML policies, and internal risk frameworks


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in credit cards, consumer lending, or portfolio management in the Philippine market
  • Solid understanding of Philippine banking regulations, especially BSP circulars on credit cards
  • Familiarity with local card platforms (e.g., BancNet, Visa/Mastercard schemes, acquiring networks)
  • Experience working in a retail bank or fintech with exposure to cards or payments
  • Exposure to digital engagement strategies (push notifications, SMS, email, in-app promotions)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
