About the Role

The Market Manager is an individual contributor role with territory management and technical responsibilities. The primary focus of this role is to develop and execute business strategies to gain or protect market share, lead territory marketing and sales efforts, provide technical support to customers, and monitor product quality and competitive performance within the assigned territory.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Develop and sustain a business strategy to increase or protect market share.
  • Create clear strategies for key accounts (increase share, account penetration, protect base, etc.).
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Establish revenue and product goals that are time-bound, realistic, and achievable.
  • Deliver value to customers using value-based selling strategies.
  • Develop account plans to maximize growth potential and ensure efficient time management.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve basic product and customer issues.
  • Monitor quality and performance of company and competitor products within the territory.
  • Gather market intelligence and maintain a succession pipeline of customers.
  • Track and manage major sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
  • Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies while fostering a culture of safety.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred Field of Study: Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience: 3–5 years in the construction materials industry.Cement sales experience highly preferred
  • Certifications (Preferred): Sandler sales training and certification


Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Google Suite
  • SAP
  • Salesforce
  • QlikView

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority; demonstrates leadership presence.
  • Strong presentation and training skills.
  • Proactive, organized, results-oriented self-starter with high energy and drive.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and effective negotiator.
  • Proficiency in cement and concrete products.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators where applicable. Employees required to wear respirators must meet qualitative and quantitative fit-test requirements.
