Manual Software Tester (Junior)

Work Location: Cebu IT Park

Work Set-up: Onsite

Work Schedule: Night Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Assess software quality through manual user acceptance testing.
• Understands and analyzes client requirements.
• Executes tests based on test strategy, test plan and test case.
• Logs findings and investigates defects. Discusses incidents and results with Tech Team.
• Sets up test environment and reports to Tech Team and client.
• Perform the project’s core tasks periodically and/or as needed.

Job Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• 1 -3 years of experience in manual testing (black-box, functional, regression, system, UI, etc.)
• Keen attention to detail, thinking outside the box to break logic and solve problems.
• Proactive, adaptable, can catch up easily and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Willing to be assigned in/relocated to Cebu City.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with gathering and documenting functional requirements, use cases, and test cases.
• Platform testing and ticketing experience.
• Automation experience is an advantage.
• Network knowledge is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
