FyneHand is mandated to hire for the position of Managing Director - US Tax

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is looking for a Managing Director - US Tax to be based in Bangalore.

Role Overview: The ideal candidate should be an experienced and strategic leader to lead and expand the US Tax practice within a global capability center environment. The role will be responsible for driving client service excellence, leading large-scale US tax engagements, building high-performing teams, and partnering with global stakeholders to deliver value-driven tax solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in US taxation, strong leadership capabilities, experience managing large delivery teams, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence and business growth in a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead large-scale US Tax operations and delivery teams
• Manage complex US Tax engagements across Corporate Tax, Partnership Tax, International Tax, and Compliance
• Partner with global stakeholders and senior leadership teams
• Drive business operations, revenue growth, market expansion, and practice scalability
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams and future leaders
• Ensure quality, compliance, risk management, and timely delivery

Qualification & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 18–25+ years of experience in US Tax, preferably within leading consulting firms or leading professional services firms
• Extensive experience managing large US Tax delivery teams in a GCC/Global Capability Center environment
• Strong understanding of US Corporate Tax, Partnership Tax, International Tax, and related compliance frameworks
• Proven leadership experience in managing senior stakeholders and large-scale engagements
• Strong business acumen with experience in practice management and strategic growth initiatives
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
