Key Responsibilities

ESG Capabilities Requirement

Help in building a long-term plan in line with global strategy on sustainability mandate, tracking relevant ESG KPIs and targets
Knowledge and ability to drive all ESG related actions and reporting requirement for BRSR, CDP, S&P Global (DJSI), UNGC, CSRD, Annual Sustainability Reporting, MSCI, Sustain analytics, etc.
Knowledge and understanding on ESG Standards – GRI, UNSDG, SBTi, NGRBC Principles, etc
Guide internal teams/departments to improve their ESG framework and reporting
Data/information collation for all reporting requirements. Follow-up with various departments/teams across locations and functions to collect data and information.
Expertise in analyzing/validating the data collated and ability to discuss with concerned stakeholders for any data issues, probable gaps and corrections.
Gap assessment and recommending ESG improvements to the senior management.
Lead all reporting compilation including liaison with external partners towards timely closure
Leading assurance (audit) for ESG related disclosures
Prepare quarterly ESG updates for presenting to the Board, Managing Director and Senior Management. Suggest improvement areas and action plan for such improvements.
Perform periodic peer and competitor benchmarking across certain key metrics and disclosures.

Preferred Education Qualifications And Experience

Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in ESG domain
Post Graduate - M-Tech/MBA in Sustainability from a reputed accredited university/college
Preferred Graduation - B.E., Chemical/Mechanical Engineering from a reputed accredited university/college
Understanding of ESG Standards/Reporting Framework, practices and challenges.
Strong verbal, written communication, analytical skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across functions and grades; Work collaboratively with teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and flexible to handle peak workload
Willingness to take up overall ownership and not limited by job description for role
Demonstrated proficiency in MS office, Power Point, Excel, MS-Word, etc.
