Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Manager with the BD skillset who can guide students and learners in their academic and career journeys. The counsellor will be responsible for student counselling, resolving learner concerns, coordinating with trainers and academic teams, and ensuring a positive learning experience. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience in education or EdTech, and the ability to handle students professionally.

The counsellor will be responsible for student counselling, resolving learner concerns, coordinating with trainers and academic teams, and ensuring a positive learning experience. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience in education or EdTech, and the ability to handle students professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and learners regarding courses, career paths, skill development programs, and training opportunities.
- Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to understand student needs, goals, and challenges.
- Handle student queries, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate with trainers, academic teams, and operations to ensure smooth batch execution and learner satisfaction.
- Support student onboarding, induction sessions, and orientation programs.
- Maintain accurate student records, counseling notes, and follow-ups.
- Guide students for interviews, personality development, and soft skill enhancement.
- Assist in academic planning, batch management, and classroom coordination.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents (if required), and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to academic processes, quality standards, and institutional policies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and counselling skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Team handling and coordination abilities
- Positive attitude with a learner-centric approach
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic technical awareness (EdTech / digital platforms preferred)
- Master’s degree preferred (Education, Psychology, Computer Applications, or related field)
- Bachelor’s degree mandatory
- Experience in education, EdTech, training, counselling, or academic operations is an advantage
- 5–12 years of experience in academic counselling, training, student support, or educational operations
- Experience as a soft skill trainer, academic head, or faculty will be an added advantage
