Job Description

Job Purpose

To Manage Publication Operations, Including Sales, Production, And Paper Procurement, Ensuring Quality Products and Timely Delivery. The Role Focuses On Driving Sales Growth, Optimizing Costs, And Improving Overall Efficiency.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of publication operations, including sales and distribution.
  • Manage and coordinate the production process, ensuring timely and quality publication of materials.
  • Handle procurement of paper and other materials required for printing.
  • Liaise with printers and other vendors to ensure cost-effective and efficient printing processes.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and expand market reach.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional activities and campaigns for publications.
  • Maintain relationships with key partners and vendors, negotiate terms and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of publication and distribution.

Specific Knowledge

  • Publishing Industry: Understanding of publishing processes, market trends, and audience preferences.
  • Paper Procurement & Printing: Familiarity with paper types, printing technologies, and cost control.
  • Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of inventory, logistics, and distribution channels.
  • Sales & Distribution: Understanding of B2B/B2C strategies, retail, and online channels.
  • Legal Compliance: Awareness of RNI, copyright, intellectual property, and contracts.

Specific Skills

  • Project Management: Ability to plan and execute publication projects.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Expertise in sales strategies and vendor negotiations.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting and cost management.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring production quality and implementing checks.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for team coordination and vendor management.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with excel, PowerPoint, Documents and publishing software.

Qualification And Experience

Minimum Qualification - Graduation

Minimum Experience - 5+ Years

Relevant/Additional Experience - Experience in printing production, publication sales, and operations
