- Hilti launched in 2018 the Global Information Management program. The objective of the program is to offer augmented decision support to a wide spectrum of employees having various types of functions and responsibilities covering Hilti company worldwide. From sales forces to all support functions (Finance, Logistic, HR, etc…) as well as all Managing Organization up to Executive Board.
- In a world that operates its digital transformation at a pace never met before and where the speed of decision taken is a key success factor, the targeted augmented decision support consists of delivering timely actionable insights to business process actors.
- To deliver high-quality decision support the information management program was erected around a specific operating model, a new technical architecture landscape using state of the art technologies, and a newly designed IM ecosystem,
- The “Manager Reporting & Analytics” role is to work as product owner of dashboards meeting stakeholders’ business steering needs by acting as bridge between business representatives and the delivery team. Their responsibilities include working as leader of “Data Product Developers” who develop the said dashboards.
- Most product owners and data products developers for Finance and Business Units are part of a team built in India where competence and agility are globally recognized. The objective is to build a Global Reporting Shared Service Center capable to deliver services to 10 Regions and more than 60 Managing Organizations while complying with highest service level agreement standards.
- Hilti is looking for an experienced Managers with proven track records capable to develop and drive the Global Reporting SSC.
Overall Responsibilities
- In this position, you play an important role in developing a high performing global Finance Reporting team in direct responsibility.
- In addition to this you are responsible for enabling augmented business decision making by developing Dashboards & performance metrics and upskilling the global Finance community.
- As a Reporting Manager you develop a high performing team of Data Product developers in direct responsibility by coaching, developing & upskilling the team members and by driving operational excellence and a sustainable know-how management & deputy concept.
- In addition to this, you are responsible for translating the information needs of our global finance community into data products. This includes defining technical specs, managing product backlog, organizing MVP release and handover to the line (communications, training, e-learning contents), all the while continuously enhancing your data product portfolio.
- You will work closely with business & IT to define technical requirements (data model in BW, connectivity with different data sources, etc.) to enable BI product development.
- You will gather business feedback and drive change management within the Global Finance & Reporting/Controlling community to implement our Information Management Vision.
- Strategic steering and driving the adoption of your data products is considered a core activity.
- Consequently, you will be leading cross-functional scrum teams (business, data product & BW developers), setting priorities and allocating resources to develop Global Dashboards following operational excellence principles.
- Pro-actively contributes to definition of Global IT solutions through business requirements definition, testing of approved solutions, and errors solving.
- Ensure the effectiveness of day-to-day operations while driving continual improvements
- Develop high performing team of Data Product Developers. Foster & leverage diversity and inclusion and develop a sustainable FCC organization in direct responsibility and as well as a contributor of talents to the global/regional finance organization of Hilti
- Educate, inspire, develop and support employees to drive reporting operational excellence
- Inspire and coach Team Members to achieve the company’s strategy and safeguard Hilti’s assets
- Proactively monitor external environment and translate relevant trends into FCC organization to ensure agility and value creation
- Consistently challenge the status quo, act as change agent in the FCC team and for the entire organization
- Master’s degree in finance or business administration or computer science or data analytics or business informatics or information management
- Team leader experience of minimum 5-6 years
- Project management experience with an understanding of SCRUM/agile framework & methodology
- Financial Planning & Analytics/Controlling background/work experience min 5-6 yrs experience
Interest in understanding business at par with Financial Planning & Analytics/Controlling leader
- Preferred work experience with Bex Query Designer, Eclipse Query Designer, or similar tool
- Preferred experience in SAP Application Designer/Lumira/SAP Design Studio/SAP BW
- Experience in business analytics technologies (e.g.BW4/Hana, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud)
- A strategic mindset and good problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and fluency in English
- Experience of working in collaboration with highly diverse teams
- The ability to communicate and present effectively to finance & cross functional team members
