Manager - Purchase

A Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials and components needed for manufacturing transformers (like cores, coils, insulation materials, oil, bushings, etc.).

Exprience required : 10 to 12 years

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials like copper, CRGO steel, insulation paper, transformer oil, etc.
• Maintain relationships with reliable vendors.
• Procurement Planning
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
• Cost Negotiation
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Focus on cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Inventory Control
• Monitor stock levels and avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Quality Assurance Coordination
• Ensure purchased materials meet required technical specifications and standards.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Handle purchase orders (POs), invoices, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure adherence to ISO or industry standards
