We are looking to hire a Manager, Parts Procurement, Shared Service Center who will be responsible to lead and manage the Shared Service Center operations for Parts Procurement, (Category Purchasing and Supply Chain Management) including strategic and operational procurement work for global needs executed from India.
The Manager, Parts Procurement, Shared Service Center will ensure alignment with Valmet Supply Chain Policy and Guideline to deliver products and services with the right quality, on time and effective cost. The Procurement Manager will be responsible to develop high performing team & implement procurement strategies, acting as disciplinary Manager in matrix organization for defined Categories.
This role will report to Director, Parts Procurement Business relation with all functions relevant to supply chain and Parts Procurement Management Team as operative owner of the related associates in respective Category team.

This role will report to Director, Parts Procurement Business relation with all functions relevant to supply chain and Parts Procurement Management Team as operative owner of the related associates in respective Category team.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and develop own area supply chain processes, persons, performance and suppliers.
- Manage and develop own area operative Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing and Administration & Facilities.
- Responsible for net working capital (NWC), increasing saving, flexibility and sustainability in supply chain in own area.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making to develop and implement supply chain strategies that are aligned with the business objectives, and translate these into annual plans and actions.
- Collaborate and support internal stakeholders for achieving company targets.
- Actively collaborate with the Parts Procurement Category teams and support functions
- Continuous improvement, safety and sustainability. Make sure the sustainability audits and their corrective actions are done according to the annual plan.
- Monitor and manage KPIs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Continuous improvement team competences and skills, emphasize a learning orientation and manage performance effectively.
- Perform according to Quality, Safety, Environmental and other company’s’ management system, policies, practices and instructions.
- Work with country, regional, area and global specialists, vendors / suppliers required by tasks.
To succeed in this role:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or related fields.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in a supply chain function with managerial roles and strong leadership capabilities.
- International trade and finance knowledge, Supplier management and technical standards knowledge
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (Info LN)
- Self-motivated and proactive with excellent problem-solving.
- Good command of English and able to communicate with foreigner efficiently.
