Job Description
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and process-driven Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end order fulfillment, inventory, and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will manage order confirmation, packing & dispatch, store operations, courier coordination, order delivery, Shopify backend management, and overall inventory accuracy. This role requires strong ownership, multi-tasking ability, and the capability to work independently as well as lead small teams. Key Responsibilities Order Management Handle order confirmation and verification through the system. Coordinate timely packing, labeling, and dispatch of all orders. Ensure quality checks before shipment. Inventory & Store Management Maintain stock records and ensure inventory accuracy at all times. Monitor low-stock items and coordinate replenishment with vendors. Oversee store layout, stock arrangement, and hygiene standards. Logistics & Courier Handling Partner with courier companies for smooth pickups and deliveries. Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or escalations. Maintain courier performance reports (TAT, delays, returns, etc.) Shopify & System Administration Manage Shopify backend for order flow, product listings, pricing updates, and tracking numbers. Handle integrations, settings, and data synchronization. Generate MIS reports on orders, sales, dispatch, and inventory. Team & Contribution Work as an individual contributor and lead a team as required. Train staff on packing, labeling, and system usage. Implement SOPs for smooth operations and process compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications Graduation in any discipline; supply chain or operations background preferred. 2?5 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, supply chain, or inventory management. Hands-on expertise in Shopify (mandatory). Strong Excel skills and experience with inventory or warehouse tools. Excellent communication, vendor coordination, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under deadlines and multitask effectively. Additional Attributes Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset. Ability to handle physical inventory checks and store maintenance. Comfortable working independently and handling responsibility end-to-end. Experience with courier services, dispatch planning, and logistics documentation.
