Overview of the Role We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with deep expertise in telecom or internet services to spearhead the implementation and optimization of Zabbix monitoring solutions . The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in network architecture, performance monitoring, and automation, with a strong understanding of Zabbix deployment in large-scale environments . ?? Key Areas ?? Zabbix Implementation: Lead end-to-end deployment of Zabbix for network monitoring across routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. ?? Monitoring Strategy: Design and configure templates, triggers, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms tailored to telecom-grade infrastructure. ?? Network Infrastructure Support: Maintain and troubleshoot core IP/MPLS networks, BGP/OSPF routing, and internet backbone systems. ?? Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts (Python, Bash) to automate data collection, reporting, and alerting workflows. ?? Performance Optimization: Analyze network health metrics and proactively resolve latency, packet loss, or downtime issues. ?? Documentation & Training: Create SOPs and train internal teams on Zabbix usage and best practices. ?? Security & Compliance: Ensure monitoring systems align with security policies and telecom regulations. ?? Required Skills & Qualifications ?? Bachelor?s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field. ? 7?8 years of experience in network engineering within telecom or ISP environments. ?? Proven expertise in Zabbix setup, customization, and scaling . ?? Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog , and network protocols. ?? Experience with Linux systems, virtualization, and cloud-based monitoring . ?? Familiarity with telecom-grade hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei) and NMS tools. ?? Certifications like CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are a plus. ? Important Aspects ?? Analytical mindset with attention to detail. ??
