MIS Manager - Renowned Educational institution

Location: Patiala

Reporting To: COO & CFO

Role Overview

The MIS Manager will be responsible for driving data accuracy, reporting discipline, and decision support across academic and administrative functions. The role requires someone who can structure data, build reporting systems, and ensure leadership has clear, actionable insights for operational and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage MIS reporting frameworks across departments
• Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reporting templates
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems
• Generate periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for leadership review
• Work closely with finance, operations, and academic teams to translate data into insights
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual dependency
• Support budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify gaps in existing data systems and drive process improvements

Key Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level mandatory)Pivot tables, advanced formulas, dashboards, automation
• 5–10 years of experience in MIS / reporting / data analytics roles
• Experience in education / edtech sector preferred
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders (COO & CFO office)
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau) is a plus
