Job Description

To access the new products introduced at site from R & D and suggest required safety study to be performed to safeguard the process.

Define the Process Safety Requirements / studies from the conceptual stage to Kilo Lab till transfer to Plant level

Responsible for generating process safety data based on needs from site interpretation of data and providing suggestion to sites for control, to carry out the analysis like RC, TSU, Fall hammer , MIE, Dust explosion

Develop Process Safety Information

Work with sites to develop RC-PHA, HAZOPs

To investigate the process safety accidents/ incidents and dangerous occurrence

Maintaining process safety instruments and its spares for smooth function

To review HAZOP and RISK assessment study at field and check the effectiveness of the controls and upgrade them as required.

Conduct PHA ensure consequence analysis ( MCLS, dispersion modeling) and suggest corrective measures for respective sires.

On site process safety audits of all the sites and review of all process safety elements, also review of all critical process and check the control available

This position involves 10 to 12 days monthly travel.

Work Experience

10-15 years of indstrial experience in Pharmaceutial / chemical industries

Education

Graduation in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology
