EU Exports Manager GCC
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and skilled EU Exports Manager to lead our global export and import operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team working in order management, customer service, export operations, and import operations from global into Europe and the UK. The EU Exports Manager will ensure compliance with key international trade rituals and routines, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive new projects while working closely with leadership.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Proven experience in managing a team, preferably in a global or multinational company.
Sound knowledge of key international trade rituals and routines, including customs regulations, export controls, and logistics management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions.
Proficiency in SAP and OTM (On-Time Delivery) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is an added advantage.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team working in order management, customer service, export operations, and import operations from global into Europe and the UK. The EU Exports Manager will ensure compliance with key international trade rituals and routines, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive new projects while working closely with leadership.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manage a team of professionals working in order management, customer service, export operations, and import operations to ensure seamless execution of global export and import operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with key international trade rituals and routines, including customs regulations, export controls, and logistics management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, including customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure timely and effective communication.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive new projects, identify opportunities for growth, and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to address them.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including metrics and KPIs, to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Manage and resolve complex issues, including customs disputes, logistics challenges, and customer complaints.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics management.
- Oversee a portfolio with a Gross Sales Value (GSV) of over $500 million, ensuring effective management of revenue and growth opportunities.
