About the Role

Chai Point is looking for a Manager – Human Resources to serve as a strategic HR Business Partner for our corporate functions across both the Retail Stores (XP) and Enterprise Vending (EW) businesses. This role partners closely with business leaders to drive the people agenda across talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. The incumbent will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining high-performing talent while ensuring HR practices are aligned with business objectives and support organizational growth.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders across Retail Stores (XP) and Enterprise Vending (EW) corporate functions to drive the overall people agenda.
  • Advise leaders on organization design, workforce planning, talent strategy, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, and succession planning across assigned functions.
  • Coach managers on people decisions, employee relations, and leadership development.
  • Partner with Finance on manpower planning, headcount budgeting, and organizational planning.
  • Leverage HR analytics and insights to support strategic business decisions and improve people outcomes.


Talent Management & Employee Experience

  • Lead initiatives focused on talent development, internal mobility, succession planning, and leadership capability building.
  • Drive employee engagement, recognition, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to create development plans and career progression frameworks.
  • Support change management and organizational transformation initiatives as the business scales.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, processes, and best practices across functions.


Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee end-to-end hiring for corporate and leadership roles across functions including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and HR.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and build hiring plans aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive sourcing strategies through multiple channels and manage external search partners where required.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience while improving hiring efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Track recruitment metrics and continuously enhance hiring processes and employer branding.


What We're Looking For

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
  • 12–15 years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in HR Business Partnering, along with exposure to Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders in F&B, Retail, QSR, FMCG, or other high-growth consumer businesses is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, talent management, organization design, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Exposure to corporate and leadership hiring with the ability to drive strategic hiring initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • High business acumen, professionalism, and the ability to work with confidential information.
