Role Overview
The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end human resource operations for the organization, with a strong focus on recruitment, people processes, and employee engagement. The role requires hands-on experience in the real estate or allied sectors, managing diverse roles across corporate, site, operations, and support functions. The individual will be responsible for building structured HR systems while remaining actively involved in day-to-day people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle across corporate, site, and operational roles
- Understand manpower requirements in coordination with department heads and site teams
- Source, screen, interview, and close candidates for white-collar and site-based roles
- Coordinate interviews with management and ensure timely hiring decisions
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring MIS
- Job Descriptions & Role Structuring
- Create and update job descriptions and job profiles for all roles across departments
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and KRAs for each position
- Align job profiles with organizational goals and real estate project requirements
- Performance Management & KRAs
- Develop and implement KRA frameworks across functions
- Support departments in setting measurable performance goals
- Coordinate performance reviews and appraisal cycles
- Track performance outcomes and improvement plans
- Onboarding & Offer Process
- Manage the offer rollout, negotiation, and documentation process
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts
- Design and execute a structured onboarding and induction program
- Coordinate employee joining formalities and ensure smooth integration
- Exit Management
- Handle employee exits including resignation acceptance, notice period tracking, and clearances
- Conduct exit interviews and share insights with management
- Ensure completion of full and final settlements and documentation
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and internal communication
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and feedback
- Support management in building a positive, performance-driven culture
- Drive engagement across site teams and corporate offices
- HR Operations & Compliance (Generic)
- Maintain employee records, files, and HR documentation
- Support HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to internal HR processes and basic statutory requirements relevant to the real estate sector
- Coordinate with external consultants/vendors when required
- 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality-led developments, or townships
- Strong hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and people processes
- Ability to work closely with senior management and site teams
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Practical, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
