About Bhavishyath Counselling

Bhavishyath Counselling is a not-for-profit organisation focused on enabling youth to access meaningful career pathways through skilling, counselling, and industry-aligned training initiatives. The organisation works closely with communities and partners to create practical, outcome-oriented programs. Currently, Bhavishyath works in 4 states and has an outreach of more than 50,000 youth who have been counselled, mentored, and empowered. As the program delivery model has now been proven, the organisation plans to scale and replicate its operations across India.

About the position –Manager, Fundraising

As Bhavishyath Counselling seeks to scale its reach and impact over the next few years, there is a need to put in place a strong team that can be at the forefront of managing current donor and partner relationships while building new ones that fuel the growth.

The incumbent will play a crucial role in enabling Bhavishyath’s future growth through creating and expanding our donor network across donor categories and funding sources.

Roles and Responsibilities

·      Work closely with the Leadership to define fundraising priorities, goals, and targets for each year.

·      Expand donor network, including mapping, researching, and building connections with prospective and new donors (Corporate CSR, Institutional Funders, HNIs)

·      Identify and execute opportunities for fundraising and network building, including retail fundraising.

·      Work closely with project teams and the project office function to define funding needs and put together impactful proposals and presentations.

·      Work closely with the communications team to develop high-quality collaterals for new donors.

Qualifications, skills required

·      Education in a field relevant to Relationship Management, Client Acquisition and People Management.

·      Excellent interpersonal skills & comfort with building new relationships, including making cold calls.

·      Great oral and written communication skills. Interest and exposure to modern AI and Design tools will be a plus.

·      Ability to self-start and manage work with minimum supervision and willingness to learn.

·      Excellent collaboration skills, including the ability to work with different teams.

·      Experience in Fundraising / Client Relationship Management / Business Development / Sales in a reputed organisation will be a plus.
