Manager / Assistant Vice President – Financial Advisory – 9-15 years – Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients through the full lifecycle of investment transactions across credit and alternative asset classes, including loan portfolios, securitisations, specialty financing, and real estate.

• Build and review flexible, transparent financial models for periodic third-party valuations, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.

• Design valuation approaches for new asset types and enhance the firm’s private markets valuation platform.

• Present valuation outputs to clients, investors, and auditors in a clear and professional manner.

• Mentor junior team members, conduct technical training, and oversee smaller teams to ensure timely project delivery.

• Support asset management reporting, post-deal analysis, business planning, and ad-hoc analytics for portfolio monitoring and surveillance.

Required Skill Set

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA; certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are a plus.

• Strong understanding of securitisations, prepayments, defaults, capital structures, and payment waterfalls.

• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel; knowledge of Python is advantageous.

• Familiarity with private market valuations.

• Ability to work independently and manage small teams effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under pressure.
