Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Telecom Industry Analyst. In this role, you will closely track the Indian Telecom industry, analyze the financial and strategic performance of top telecom service providers, and interpret regulatory documents. Your insights will play a critical role in forecasting industry trends and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze developments in the Indian Telecom industry, including market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
Study and interpret annual reports of leading telecom service providers and key documents released by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).
Forecast key industry parameters such as revenue, profitability, market share, and player strategies using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Conduct in-depth research on both B2B and B2C segments within the telecom sector to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Prepare detailed industry reports, white papers, and executive summaries highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
Deliver impactful and concise presentations to internal and external stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business recommendations.
Participate in ad-hoc projects related to telecommunications, providing research support and analytical expertise as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client queries and support business development initiatives.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of the Indian Telecom industry, including both B2B and B2C segments.
Proven experience in analyzing financial statements, annual reports, and regulatory documents.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentation creation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and succinctly.
Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive reports and create impactful presentations.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for industry research.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electronics/Telecommunication; Masters in Business Administration
Prior experience in telecom research, consulting, or a related analytical role.
Familiarity with TRAI guidelines and the regulatory framework governing the telecom industry.
