Job Description

A Maintenance Technicianensures facilities and equipment run smoothly by performing routine upkeep, diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical/plumbing issues, and executing preventative maintenance, with responsibilities including inspections, responding to emergencies, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety compliance across various systems like HVAC and building structures.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance:

Conduct regular inspections, lubricate, clean, and service equipment and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to prevent failures.

Repairs

Troubleshoot and fix issues in machinery, wiring, pipes, and building structures (walls, doors, windows).

System Management

Oversee heating, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Inspections Safety

Perform quality checks, identify maintenance needs, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and codes.

Documentation

Maintain accurate logs, update service records, and document all maintenance activities.

Emergency Response

Promptly address and resolve emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.

General Upkeep

Handle tasks like painting, landscaping, carpentry, and managing inventory of parts.
