Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Machine Operator role based in Sivakasi. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to safety and quality standards, following defined procedures and work instructions. Daily tasks include preparing equipment and materials, loading and unloading machines, adjusting machine settings, and using hand tools for minor adjustments or basic maintenance. The role involves checking products during and after production for defects, recording production data, and reporting any issues to supervisors or maintenance teams. The Machine Operator will also help keep the work area clean and organized, follow safety protocols at all times, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in machine operation and working safely with industrial machinery.
• Experience with basic quality control checks and attention to detail in inspecting finished products.
• Ability to use hand tools for simple adjustments, minor repairs, and routine machine upkeep.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, maintenance staff, and team members.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, follow safety procedures, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions, labels, and production records.
• Willingness to work shifts or extended hours if required by production schedules.
