Who is the ML Engineer at Linecraft AI? The Machine Learning Engineer will design, prototype, and productionize ML models that power Linecraft AI?s industrial analytics platform. The role requires strong hands-on skills in applied ML, experimentation, data engineering, and deploying models in production environments. You will work closely with product, domain, and engineering teams to ensure ML solutions deliver measurable business impact on manufacturing processes. You?ll be in charge of: Exploration & Research Evaluate ML and Deep Learning algorithms for manufacturing problems such as anomaly detection, predictive insights, process optimization, and time-series forecasting. Analyse machine, sensor, and production-line data to extract patterns and actionable insights. Perform feature engineering for time-series, event, and categorical industrial datasets. Assess data quality, design validation frameworks, and build baseline models to guide development. Model Development & Optimization Build and optimize ML pipelines for performance, interpretability, and robustness. Evaluate models using appropriate metrics for classification, regression, forecasting, and clustering. Conduct error analysis, improve accuracy, and iterate on research prototypes for production readiness. Productionization & MLOps Deploy ML models to production using Docker, Kubernetes, or workflow orchestrators (Flyte/Kubeflow/Airflow). Implement CI/CD for ML workflows, model versioning, and automated testing. Monitor production models, track drift, troubleshoot issues, and retrain models with new data. Maintain high-quality code, documentation, experiment tracking, and reproducibility. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with domain experts to ensure models reflect real manufacturing constraints. Partner with backend and platform teams to integrate ML outputs into the Linecraft product experience. Translate business needs into measurable ML objectives and communicate trade-offs clearly. More about you: ? You have worked as an ML engineer for at least 1-2 years ? You are proficient in Python and ML/DL libraries: PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, etc. ? You are familiar using Ops frameworks like Docker, Kubernetes, Flyte/Kubeflow ? You have a Bachelors in the Engineering field with a background in Data science. ? You are a highly motivated self-starter, eager to make an impact in this space. ? You have a demonstrated capability in solving unstructured problems in industry. ? You are a great communicator, detail oriented and have a penchant for complex problems.
